Instructions on how to plan your Key West cruise ship wedding:
Getting married on a cruise is fun and Key West is a wonderful choice for your wedding. Key West is a very popular destination for cruise ships. This link to Caribe Nautical provides a schedule of all the cruise ships that will make a port of call in Key West. There are 3 piers that all the ships use. There is Mallory Square, Pier B at the Westin Hotel and Resort and The Outer Mole, which is on a U.S. Naval Base. These 3 piers cater to all of the cruise ships that visit Key West and they are only about a mile from each other. Mallory Square and the Westin are only 3 to 4 blocks from the Monroe County Court House which issues marriage licenses. that Transportation is provided by a Key West Trolley or Conch Tour Train for ships that dock at the Outer Mole to their main depot on Front St. at Mallory Square, the ride is about 1 mile and takes about 10 minutes. (Remember Key West is only 1.5 miles by 4 miles, so nothing is very far from anything else.)
Check the Caribe Nautical link (they are the ships agent in Key West and provide docking services) to see if a ship will arrive in Key West on the day you are planning your wedding. Next thing, call me at 305.292.2292 and I'll be happy to assist with your cruise planning. I've been on several cruises and can assist in selecting a ship that suits your style and budget. THE PERFECT KEY WEST CRUISE SHIP WEDDING...
The "I DO, I DO Key West" includes the same exceptional services as the "I Do", but I add pick-up and return for 2 from your hotel or cruise ship and perform the ceremony anytime of day. Also include 30 minutes of digital photography.
The "I DO, I DO Key West" is the perfect ceremony if you are arriving by cruise ship or are new to Key West and appreciate the personal service and convenience of a ride to the ceremony site. We spend a little more time together than my simple, tasteful "I DO, Key West" ceremony and this allows for additional photography at your inn or near the ship.
You might also consider upgrading to a day room while on land, to get ready, relax, maybe have your hair and make-up done before the ceremony. Also consider adding wedding flowers, perhaps a harp or steel drum musician, loose flower petals, lunch reservations, pedicab or an antique Bentley or Rolls Royce limousine. I can confirm all of these details for you and provide you with a truly memorable wedding that you will treasure forever. Delivered in a gentle, relaxed style that has been my trademark over the years as Conch Concierge.
If this sounds like what you've been looking for, please call me at 305.292.2292 to begin planning your Key West wedding ceremony.
